The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) in India announced the venues and dates for matches in the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) Finals and Qualifiers on Saturday and ipl playoffs tickets.
The first Qualifier and Eliminator will take place at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on May 24 and 26, respectively. Meanwhile, the second qualifier will be played on May 27 and the final on May 29, both at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. All matches will be fully watched by spectators.
“As for the IPL men’s knockout matches, they will be held in Kolkata and Ahmedabad, with 100% attendance allowed for matches to be played after the league ends on May 22,” said the president of the BCCI, Sourav. Ganguly. after Saturday’s main council meeting.
During the meeting, it was also decided that the three-team Women’s T20 Challenge, involving the Trailblazers, Supernovas and Velocity, would take place in Lucknow from May 24-28.
Speaking of IPL, the tournament’s fifth season has so far seen 35 games, with new Gujarat Titans (GT) topping the table with 12 points from seven games, while five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) n have not yet opened their account in the points table. After facing a 3 wicket loss to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Thursday, they created an embarrassing record of losing the first seven games of an IPL season.
