Washington Sundar is an Indian cricketer who primarily plays as an off-spin bowler and a left-handed batsman. He was born on October 5, 1999, in Chennai, India. He made his international debut for India in 2017, and has since played in all three formats of the game. Sundar is also known for his impressive performances in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Washington Sundar made his international debut for India in a Twenty20 International (T20I) against Sri Lanka in December 2017. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut a few months later, in January 2018, and his Test debut in January 2021. Sundar has also played for various domestic teams in India, including Tamil Nadu in the Ranji Trophy and the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.
Washington Sundar has had a promising start to his international career, and has been a key member of India’s limited-overs teams in recent years. He has also impressed with his all-round skills in the IPL, helping his teams to crucial victories with his economical bowling and handy batting. In the 2020-21 Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, he played a crucial role in India’s historic win by scoring a fifty and taking four wickets in the final Test.
