Career Information

Shivam Dube is an Indian cricketer who plays as an all-rounder. He made his debut for the Indian cricket team in November 2019, in a T20I against Bangladesh. He is also a regular player for the Mumbai cricket team in domestic cricket and has played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Domestic Career

Dube made his debut for the Mumbai cricket team in 2016, in the Ranji Trophy. He played in 6 matches in his debut season, scoring 229 runs at an average of 32.71 and taking 9 wickets at an average of 23.55. He had a breakthrough season in 2018-19, scoring 632 runs and taking 23 wickets in 9 matches.

International Career

Dube made his international debut for India in November 2019, in a T20I against Bangladesh. He has played 1 Test, 8 ODIs, and 17 T20Is for India, scoring 116 runs and taking 11 wickets across all formats.

News

In December 2019, Dube was bought by RCB for INR 5 crore (USD 700,000) at the IPL player auction. He made his IPL debut for the team in March 2020, in a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. In the same match, he took the wicket of Kane Williamson, the New Zealand captain.

  • Shivam Dube scored five sixes in an over during a Ranji Trophy match against Baroda in 2018-19. He became the fourth cricketer in the history of first-class cricket to achieve this feat.
