Vijay Shankar is an Indian cricketer who made his international debut in 2018. He is an all-rounder who can bat in the middle order and bowl medium pace. Shankar has played for the Tamil Nadu cricket team in domestic cricket and has also played for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Shankar was named in India’s squad for the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup but was ruled out of the tournament due to injury. He has since returned to the Indian team and has been a regular in the T20I squad.
