Career Info

Thakur made his first-class debut for Mumbai in the 2012-13 season of the Ranji Trophy. He made his List A debut for Mumbai in the 2013-14 season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. In the same year, he made his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut for Kings XI Punjab.

Thakur made his international debut for India in August 2017, in a Test match against Sri Lanka.
